Developmental Paediatrics is a pioneering new service integrating assessment and therapy modalities for children and adolescents with developmental, learning, and behavioural difficulties in one multidisciplinary centre.
As a centre of excellence in developmental paediatrics, we have a range of experts in their fields available for consultation, and have developed a number of innovative multi-disciplinary assessment clinics. We believe that the best outcomes are reached through a combination of medical, psychological, behavioural, nutritional, educational, and therapy interventions.

Dr Paul Joshua
Dr Paul Joshua is a developmental paediatrician with a special interest in ADHD and behavioural disorders in school age children. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and members of the RACP Chapter of Community Child Health and the Neurodevelopmental and Behavioural Paediatric Society of Australasia. He consults at Southside Paediatrics, via telehealth for rural patients through Anywhere Healthcare, and is the founder of a clinic at Liverpool Hospital for children in South West Sydney with Learning, Behavioural and Developmental challenges. He is a Visiting Medical Officer at St George Private Hospital, Hurstville Private Hospital, Kareena Private Hospital, and Prince of Wales Private Hospital.
Dr Joshua worked for 10 years at Sydney Children’s Hospital in developmental medicine, refugee health, child protection and general paediatrics. Dr Joshua has been on the Sydney Children’s Hospital Clinical Council and Health Promotion Committee, and has been on the Paediatrics Division Council for the RACP.
