What We Offer

Accomodation and tenancy

Purpose Care Services can assist our participants to find a comfortable and secure home to call your own.

We also have our own gorgeous 4 bedroom property in Ridgewood with a garden, ensuite bathrooms and pool! Check out the video below for photos and more!

Access/maintain employment

We assist access and/or maintain employment supports with workplace assistance that helps an individual to successfully obtain and/or retain employment. 

We also provide meaningful employment and training opportunities such as personal care, assistance with transport, assistive technology for people with disabilities. You are given flexible employment opportunities and provided with disability employment support to ensure you can reach your goals.

Daily Personal Activities

Assistance and supervision for personal tasks of daily life to develop the skills of the participant to live as autonomously as possible. The focus is on increasing capability and competency in communication, social interaction, budgeting, financial management, problem-solving and travel.

High Care Needs Daily Personal Activities 

Our range of support includes:

• Feeding and management
• Managing diabetes
• Assistance with injections and medications
• Urinary catheters
• Complex tracheotomy care
• Complex Wound Management
• Complex Bowel Care.

Life stage, transition

Short and long-term supports for assistance with life change transition. We focus on strengthening the participant’s ability to coordinate your supports, and to assist you to live comfortably and participate in your community.

Travel/transport

Purpose Care Services will help participants through transport supports to help participants get around and engage with their community, contribute to the economy, educate themselves, and achieve greater independence. Our support workers and specialised transport facilities always make sure that you can easily and safely travel from one place to another

Community nursing care

This service exists to meet your clinical and personal needs so that you can lead an independent and healthy lifestyle in a safe and familiar environment. Purpose Care Services’ community nurses are caring professionals who are highly skilled, culturally sensitive, and ready to help.

Daily tasks/shared living

• Maintaining social skills
• Positive family and peer relationship
• Helping you with written communication
• Completing forms and paying bills
• Providing hands-on assistance with household activities including meal preparation and cooking, being a good neighbour, paying rent on time, domestic tasks
• Assist in house cleaning
• Helping with gardening.

Innovative Community Participation

Designed to support the people with disability in building skills that allow them to participate actively in their community, events and programmes and make community engagement more accessible to people living with disabilities.

Development of life skills

A range of support for everyday life skills, such as personal hygiene (showering, toileting and personal care) and nutrition (shopping for groceries and planning).

Household tasks

We assist participants with and/or supervise personal tasks of daily life to enable you to live as autonomously as possible. In situations where a participant’s disability prevents them from being able to perform Essential household tasks, we step in to handle them.

Participate community

We establish volunteer assistance and help you with full and effective participation in community on an equal basis with others. We firmly believe that community participation helps realise the potential for physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.

Group/centre activities

We provide a range of group and centre based activities such as arts and crafts, music, sport, dance, board games, trivia, disco, and cooking aimed to assist participants lead a full and happy life. This support is designed to assist and encourage participants to join in community, social and recreational activities with a group.
