SBS is a unique organisation with its sole focus on the provision of Specialised/Positive Behavioural Support (PBS). PBS is a person-centered approach focused on improving the quality of life for both children and adults with disabilities by understanding and addressing challenging behaviours. It aims to reduce or eliminate restrictive practices while promoting positive behaviours and enhancing independence.

PBS emphasises understanding the reasons behind challenging behaviours, teaching new skills, and making environmental changes to support positive outcomes and improve quality of life.
