What to expect: Participants will develop computer skills and knowledge whilst engaging in online learning.
(must have their own laptop or ipad).
Participants will develop skills in time management and communication, attending two face to face sessions a week one 1:1 with a mentor and one group session.
Participants will develop social skills.
Participants will gain hands-on job ready skills through monthly field visits and a 40 hour volunteer practical placement.
This is guided and supported by qualified staff.
Participants will develop an understanding and knowledge in animal healthcare and pet selection and care through weekly engagement with the Online Learning Animal Care Course.
Suitable for individuals with SLES funding.
Gold Coast based.
