What we do
Eden Equine was established in 2016 by Michael and Deborah. They have 3 children Meshi, Lily and Noa. At 18mths of age they realised that Noa's behaviour was different to their other children and that they would need help. Their son Noa has been diagnosed with Tourette's Syndrome, Oppositional Defiance Disorder and Anxiety. They have researched and been involved with many, varied therapies to help both Noa, and their family unit.
Noa is now 9, and currently attends a specialised school in Sydney. Due to the support of his family, and the love and patience of his sisters, Noa is making excellent progress.
Michael & Deborah's desire for natural therapies has led them to Equine Assisted Learning for children with special needs. Whilst engaging with the horses during groundwork, Noa is also learning to ride.
The farm is being set up to help as many children and families as possible. Eden Equine is committed to offering subsidised sessions to ensure all children can access this program.
Our facilities are undergoing renovations and therapy horses are in training, to enable us to facilitate Equine Assisted Learning Sessions for children with special needs.
