Our playgroup program is designed to allow children (aged 2 to 5 years) to connect with the beautiful wetland environment through a variety of fun nature-based activities.

Typical playgroup sessions include storytelling, puppets, singalongs, a guided nature walk, art and craft activities, science enquiries and open-ended indoor play in our dedicated early-learning space.

The early-learning room contains a variety of books, puzzles, costumes, puppets and other resources for your child to enjoy.

Sessions will run for approximately 90 minutes to optimise your child's interest and energy levels.

Please dress for mess!

We will be exploring nature and making nature crafts so we encourage children to wear clothes that can afford to get dirty.

Remember also to bring a hat, waterbottle and covered shoes or gumboots.

Important to note: As the centre is set in a wetland area, a parent or carer must be present at all times during the session.

Supervision is key to providing your child with a safe and fun learning environment!
