PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANCE

Our role is to assist you in comfortably performing daily tasks according to your needs. We help you from the start of the day from waking up to taking a bath, dressing up, grooming, and having breakfast. We understand it can sometimes be an awkward and uncomfortable situation for carers to complete tasks that are more intimate, so our professional support workers can complete these tasks to provide a more pleasant and careful service. We ensure that our customers feel satisfied with the quality of care provided and this improves their overall mental and physical wellbeing, understanding they are in professional, friendly and caring hands. The personal care service covers but is not limited to:

• Bathing and Showering

• Grooming

• Applying creams and makeup

• Hair care

• Oral hygiene

HOME MODIFICATION

We understand it can be very difficult sometimes to access basic needs, so we are here to help you implement modifications into your home to enable an easier and convenient living. Our team is here to listen to your needs and bring them into action through an easy-step plan. We provide home maintenance services and home modifications to ensure you are able to access what you want and complete daily tasks at your pace.
Anxieties arise when you may have to complete basic tasks, however with a physical limitation such as accessing the bathroom. We are able to modify necessary parts of the home to meet your needs such as altering bathrooms and kitchens, as well as elevate the anxiety behind them.

We can assist you with:

• Modifying bathrooms and kitchens such as adding lower accessible cupboards or enabling a disability-convenient toilet seat.

• Switching lights or powerpoint to another location.

• Adding handrails to stairs or parts where required.

• Widening doorways or making access to parts of the home easier

• Changing door knobs and handles

• Adding windows

• Installing alarms and monitoring systems

• Altering showers to suit your needs such as hand-held showers

• Including a smart system for blinds and lights automatic control

• The services are part of the home modifications service and are completed by professionals.

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

​We offer community participation services as we know it is vital to connect outside. Every disability is unique and we want you to express yourself feeling your best. Connection is important as some individuals love to be social while others love to enjoy their own hobbies. Whatever your preference is, we are here to ensure you enjoy your time through our community participation services. The NDIS highly recommends going out and about and exploring the outdoor experience which is sure to develop your mental wellbeing, reduce stress levels, develop interpersonal skills and individuality.
Sense the smell of nature and enjoy what you love doing, through a range of activities. All made possible with our compassionate support workers who will do their best to ensure you are enjoying every bit of your experience. Meet with other friends at social activities to develop your independence and interpersonal skills or do what makes you happy through a range of activities but not limited to, going to explore nature, sports, movies, visiting family and friends, cooking, shopping and much more at a pace that suits you. Our community participation program provides adequate access to your community through transport and means to get to where you want.

Self isolation can cause stress and loneliness affecting mental health and we understand the importance of going out and about. You can trust us in providing you with a great experience in going out and enjoying what you love, through our professional and fun activities. We love to plan activities for you that are exciting, fun and not to forget.

TRAVEL AND TRANSPORT ASSISTANCE 

Perfect Disability care provides transport services to ensure you get to where you need. It can be difficult sometimes moving around and attending places you have to be through a physical limitation which can elevate anxiety and isolation. We care for you and understand the frustration this can cause, so our professional team is here to help you access transport allowing you to reach your final destination.

Assist Travel and Transport: Our team helps you get from one place to another through accessing appropriate transport. If you’ve got an appointment to attend or a friend to meet we are here to assist you to move around without worry. This ensures careful care is taken through safe measures in reaching your final destination.
Transport Assist: Perfect Disability care understands that certain disabilities require different needs and we are here to assist you to get from one place to another through a transport that can cater to your disability tools. This transport is used for customers with a wheelchair which may require a vehicle with necessary rails or equipment to ensure safe and convenient travel is implemented.
Public transport assist: This services provides training, assistance or any other support related to the access of public transport.
