Tham Gia School Holiday Program

About

We run FUN events for children living with disabilities, (Who live in the Cardinia, Casey, Dandenong, Glen Eira, Bayside, Kingston and Frankston areas, in the southern suburbs of Melbourne.) The events revolve around building life skills, forging friendships, and nurturing independence.

Our goal is to create unique and FUN experiences where everyone feels welcomed and supported.

Our program is called Tham Gia- South, which is Vietnamese for Join In.We started our programs in the Vietnamese community in the Western Suburbs, and now are growing to support the families and children in the Southeast too!

What makes our events even more remarkable?

They are HACC funded, ensuring they are accessible to participants without funding yet, and that it doesnt affect NDIS funds.

Remarkably, all our events are only 10per family,no matter how large your family is because inclusivity is at the heart of what we do.

We hold 4 events, three each school holiday period and one monthly: A school holiday event of our Family Day for families from all cultural backgrounds who have a child living with a disability.

A school holiday event for Primary school aged children living with disabilities from Vietnamese backgrounds.

A school holiday event for Secondary school aged children living with disabilities from Vietnamese backgrounds.
