The Wattle Bank Farm Introduction Adventure Horse camp is designed specifically for young people to enjoy the beauty and fun of living beyond the limitations of any diagnosis or labels.

It is an opportunity to try new things and stretch yourself in a safe and nurturing nature environment.

It is an opportunity to have fun, connect with other young people who have faced similar challenges as you.

To discuss constructive ways, to live a wholesome and fearless life whilst enjoying learning how to connect with horses and benefit from the healing properties of equine therapy as well as permaculture principles.

We will be sleeping in swags beneath the star within the glow of the camp fire whilst hearing and feeling the presents of our trusty steeds yarded in a circle beneath the gum tree surrounding us.

The camp can be paid for using NDIS line item STA And Assistance (Inc.

Respite) - 1:1 appropriate for that day of the week.

Family and support workers can join for 120 per person to cover the cost of food and activities.

Camp Dates: January 2024 - Thursday 11th - Friday 12th AND 25th - 26th (inc public holiday) February 2024 - Saturday 3rd-4th AND 17th- 18th March 2024 - Saturday 2nd-3rd Camps will be run monthly, so if your preferred dates are not yet advertised, please contact us directly.

Timings: 10am arrival.

Departure 3pm the following day.

Provided: All camping, meals and accomodation provided.

Activities: Horsemanship, Equine Facilitated Learning, Cooking, Gardening, Mushroom cultivation, Orienteering and Compass Work, Games, Meditation, Storytelling and Art What to bring: Appropriate clothing according to the seasons, boots for riding
