About

The Friendship Bakery Capacity Building Program is a transitional pathway for school leavers and young adults with special needs towards paid employment.

Our state of the art facility and training prepares participants to pursue employment goals with the confidence and skills developed in our up-to 24 month program.

Our unique learning environment addresses the real-world experience deficit that is often present within disability training programs.

Upon graduating The Capacity Building Program participants will be equipped with invaluable industry specific training and expertise, real-work place experience and an umatched set of transferable skills.

Commitment: Two shifts per week between 9:00am 1:00pm for the two-year program.

1:1 support will be provided for the first year.

This may reduce to 1:2 support if this aligns with the participants support needs.
