La Vrit Dance Projects teaches the technique and discipline of dance whilst creating a platform for self-discovery and development.
This is achieved through its various, often complementary methods of dance classes, community outreach programs and creative arts therapy, specialising in movement.
In conjuction with the teaching and application of dance pedagogy, our company of professional performers present regular showcases examining lifeand inevitable complexities, struggles and victories. We run classes for adults and children.Adults classes include:Tuesdays: Beginners BalletWednesdays: Intermediate Ballet and Dancing StrongThursdays: Beginner-Intermediate Contemporary and Beginner-Intermediate Contemporary PerformanceAge dependent kids classes include:Teeny Tiny and Tiny Troopers (Ballet, jazz and creative movements combo classes)BalletJazzContemporaryMusical TheatreAcro and Gymnasticsand Acro, Gym, Hip Hop and Jazz Combo ClassesAs part of our students progression, we offer both formal assessments and competitions for those students who are particularly interested in pursuing their dance training in a more formal manner. Our primary focus at LVDP is working on ourselves as individuals, and although more competitive levels of dance can be beneficial, we are very conscious not to push our students into these endeavours unless they are happy and comfortable with it.Each student can decide how far they want to push themselves with their preferred dance styles, and we discuss how they are feeling about both themselves and their dancing throughout the process. You can find more information about the classes here.
