Empowering Autistic Youth inLearning New Skills We employ a variety of Autism-friendly strategies to simplify the development of social, conversational and teamwork skills for autistic individuals.

Hereand how we support young people in enhancing their skills in an Autism-friendly manner: Clearly define routines, rules, and social norms to remove guesswork for learners.

Break down each new social skill into manageable steps, demonstrate them, and provide a safe space for practice.

Facilitate opportunities for learners to apply their new skills within the group or at home with a parent or supporter.

Explain the reasoning behind each step and the value of learning and using the social skill.

Celebrate small achievements along the way every helpful step is a win.

Use encouragement, humor and a sense of team spirit to make learning enjoyable and to build additional social skills.

What if Participant needs to withdraw?

Participant has the option to: 1.

Pause their course if necessary 2.

Transfer to a different course if needed 3.

Participate in catch-up sessions for missed classes You wont be charged for the entire course if your young person needs to withdraw.

In most cases, our students quickly settle in and enjoy their sessions.

If adjustments are needed, we can transfer your young person to another small group, adjust session times, or assign them to a different instructor.

We understand that unexpected events can occur sudden health issues, or difficult times for parents.

But rest assured, if things do not work out (though they usually do), youll only be billed for the portion of the course your family attended prior to withdrawal.
